Omg, you look insane! I'm always amused when I talk to you for that reason; I'm all, like ... normal-looking, I don't use make-up, I don't dress provocatively -- I have glasses -- and I look generally timid and geek-like, whereas YOU ... are one of those cool people with weird hair and clothing. It makes me wonder what I'd have been like if I had grown up in Skåneland with the rest of you. =P I guess one advantage to being as uncool as me is I don't have to worry about breaking guys' hearts, I get to be one of the guys instead.
ReplyDeleteAnd, as far as Y goes; I believe in English it gets to be BOTH a vowel and a consonant. I can't usually tell exactly when it is which; rule of thumb is: when it works as Swedish J, it's a consonant, when it works as Swedish Y, it's a vowel. Because they had to confuse themselves, those English-speaking people, and make J and Y be the same character. Oh woe are us sane people in an insane world.
I did eventually leave a reply to that other post ages ago, when I finally remembered/found my way here again, I dunno if you ever saw it.
I also think you should have come home for Görel's party; now I get to see your family but you don't!

Sometimes I'm too lazy to use makeup, but then I'm usually too lazy to remove the makeup from the day before... So... And uh, I'm wearing a pacman-shirt right now. And I'm one of the more geekier people you could meet. And for the clothing, I've got fiskes, and some plants, made of ducttape (silver and green) on my boots (2-eyed steeltoed ones), and a long black, now worn out, coat. If you had grown up in Skåneland with the rest of the clan Ericson you most likely would have some crazy hair colour and hair style, just like the rest of us (Jorun now has blue dreadlocks). Oh well, another advantage you have is that you don't have people telling you in what ways they are gonna kill you, or stalking you, just because the way you look. On the other hand I have old ladies coming up to me in line-ups in stores telling me how beautiful they think I am ^_^ (or they look at me and mutter something about the devil's child)
Y. We were doing probability in math and had a question about vowels and consonants in a word, Y was one of the letters. I got the question wrong because of it. Sane? I'm more and more starting to think that I'm the insane one in a sane world, seeing that the majority of people are way too different from me to be anything like me at all. Too bad for them, I'm insane and I love it.
You left a reply, I've just been... lazy... I'm a very lazy person, often too lazy to go to sleep. I sleep in class instead.
I would've come, but my VISA doesn't allow me to enter Canada after I've left it once. So I can't really do that without getting another VISA and pay a huge amount of money. I'll be home in late June though, the 25th I'm pretty sure. Hug my family from me! I miss them :(
I will! And, I hear you about the lazy part ... I'm the same. =P I'm hoping it goes away after I'm not a teenager anymore, but ... I have my doubts. *cries*
